I’m very happy to see Sabine Schmitz on the team. I’ll be interested to view and see what they come up with.
I have found Amazon Prime to be a nuisance way to look at video, much preferring Netflix. Jeremy Clarkson can go polish a shift knob, anyway.

Bring on the track battles! After Chris’s trinity battle, I want more.

I have high hopes for a Top Gear rethink. I hope the franchise proves to be bigger than Clarkson.

OMG a Ginger, a black guy and worst of all, a WOMAN will present Top Gear? This franchise is doooomed!! Matt LeBlanc sounds suspiciously foreign as well...

While the previous trio did well in presenting in an amusing way it was overdone at times.
I think this new group would be much better at doing informative bits like Fifth Gear does. I just don’t think this same group will be as good at the “ambitious but rubbish” bits that the old trio could do, like making the electric car, tuning a Renault Avantime for Lancer Evo times, etc.
The addition of Eddie Jordan is something I don’t really get, but otherwise I’m pretty interested in the new lineup. Also, there are now two very capable drivers (Sabine and Chris Harris), two entertainers in Evans and Leblanc, and two unknowns in the new guy and Jordan. I'm hoping the new guy can really step up and add his own personality to the show (I haven't seen his audition stuff yet) since I'd be ecstatic if I had the opportunity to be a Top Gear host. Jordan - I'm indifferent; I don't really care whether he's there or not during F1 broadcasts.

A Ginger? I don’t know that pejorative. (I realize you’re being ironic here...)

I’d like to see some discussions seated around a table where the different personalities can discuss their impressions. And it wouldn’t need to be all six, perhaps varying. The living room with the Rolls Royce seats was nice...

So would I, although I would liken it more to the commentary given at the end of Chris Harris’ film with the 918/TheFerrari/P1 where the three actually talked about the cars at the end. A lot of the old biases need to go as well - as much as I like British cars, the bias towards their “superiority” was painful, just as much as the old tendency of shitting on certain cars when it was completely undeserved.
Also, I can’t wait to see the Stig set a benchmark time and Sabine/Chris to chase it down. Old Top Gear had a lot of those comparisons and although they’re largely meaningless fun, it’d still be cool to see two capable drivers and maybe seeing the Stig lose his cool every now and then if he does get beaten. I really want to see Sabine drive again since her bit in the Ford Transit Superleggera where she's overtaking motorcycles and other sportscars on the Nurburgring was very entertaining.

I’m with you 100% and I would add, with regards to the biases, can we please get away from the sophomoric potty-speak/booty-speak that is Jeremy Clarkson? He is
such
a shithead. I think a little bit of good natured inter-European rivalry is healthy, but that business of Jeremy
always
having to win was getting tired.
Sir_Stig: and toxic masculinity ruins the party again.
